The Morton-James Public Library will host the following events for youth in the community:

Library Storytime Wednesday, April 6 at 10 a.m.

Giraffes at story time: join us for fun with giraffes and make a craft with a handprint. 2-6 years old, families welcome! No registration. Morton-James Public Library, 923 1st Corso, Nebraska City. 402-873-5609

York College Traveling Children’s Theater

Saturday 23 April, at 1 p.m.

At Nebraska City Middle School, 909 1st Corso Join us for a performance by York College Traveling Children’s Theater as they perform “Jack in the Blue Ridge Mountains”

Two sessions to choose from: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. or 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

STORY TIME: Stephen will read his origami picture book, ‘The Day We Went to the Park,’ which won the 2021 Nebraska Book Award for illustration. The book celebrates trees, nature, and outdoor fun!

PAPERCRAFT: Make and take home your own origami tree or forest by folding paper. Ideal for ages 5 and up.
